Kevin Cook – Host

Kevin Cook is either a renaissance man and jack-of-all trades or a flighty ne’er-do-well, incapable of committing to a single career track, depending on your perspective and whether or not you’re his mother.

Kevin is a University of Houston alum (class of 2013) where he majored in Creative Writing and minored in Creative Works. He considers himself fairly creative. Kevin spent several years teaching the SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE and LSAT with The Princeton Review before pivoting into writing.

Kevin wrote for Sports, Opinion and Lifestyle at The Daily Cougar at UH before signing on with Dave Morales at BackstageOL.com to write movie reviews and Hollywood News. Kevin then wrote for HoopsHype.com covering fantasy basketball and the Houston Rockets, did a brief stint covering high school football for the Denton Record-Chronicle before signing on with Houston Community Newspapers as the sports editor for the Cy Creek Mirror.

Kevin now covers all high school sports in NW Houston and the University of Houston, in particular the football and basketball teams. Kevin was in attendance for the AAC Championship victory, the Peach Bowl victory and the AAC Tournament in Orlando, Florida.

Kevin’s idol and role model is Bill Simmons and he sincerely hopes that Bill Simmons discovers that fact someday (hi, Bill!).

Jeremy is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in practice in Houston, Texas. Jeremy earned his bachelors from Baylor University where he majored in Psychology. He went on to attend Pepperdine University where he obtained his masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Jeremy has been with the podcast since the beginning and loves talking politics, college football, pop culture, or really anything that isn’t baseball. Jeremy is a native of Houston and connoisseur of all things Houston has to offer.
