Ep. 25: Texans autopsy with Houston sports writer Josh Koch; James Hoelscher of Race to the Moon talks music; the guys break down El Chapo and Making a Murderer

Houston sports writer Josh Koch calls in to eulogize the Texans after an ugly 30-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at NRG Stadium Saturday, breaking down the quarterback situation and the injury to superstar defensive end J.J. Watt. Koch also grades out Bill O’Brien’s performance in the loss and looks forward to next season.

Austin, Jeremy, Zack and Kevin discuss Sean Penn’s bizarre – and border illiterate – piece for Rolling Stone, interviewing infamous Mexican kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, which ultimately led to Guzman’s re-arrest by Mexican authorities. They then break down the Netflix documentary Making a Murderer.

Finally, James Hoelscher – lead singer of Houston indie band Race to the Moon – joins the #podcast to discuss his band’s new album, What a Time To Be Alive, and talk about the Houston music scene, including promoting two upcoming shows, Jan 13 at Satellite Bar and Jan 30 at Notsuoh.
